Teacher and Tutors - 

Let’s cast a SPELL together!  Come join us for a festive evening with other multisensory structured language tutors/teachers. 

On this night, you can meet others who share your same passions.  You'll get a chance to share – and receive – great tutoring tips while enjoying munchies, comraderie, and games. 

This Outreach Gathering for Teachers is free for all who bring an admission item on the evening of the event.* Please click here to receive a ticket. Registration will close at 12:00 noon on Wednesday. Your name will then be listed on the check-in sheet at the door. You do not need to print your ticket.

Admission: Bring a favorite item* (or ITEMS) from your "toolbox" to put on the display tables which will be set up around the room. An admission item can be ANYTHING that has been effective in your sessions or in your planning: a game, a manipulative, a description of an activity or routine, a book, a system for organizing materials, handheld technology, a favorite "app," a tip/word of advice, etc. Your item can be something you created on your own or something you found and purchased. Your item can be simple and can be tattered from use. We teachers don't need fancy: we just want to add to our "what works" toolbox! Seeing and hearing other people's ideas will create an EXPLOSION of new ideas.

 *Be sure to label your items clearly with your name and contact information. Feel free to include a description of how you use your item, what you particularly like about it, what you suggest could be done to improve it, and/or anything else you want the attendees to know about the item.

 Other Items to Bring: Notebook and Camera

Bring a notebook for jotting down people's contact information and for taking notes. You may also want to bring a camera to help with recall of ideas after the meeting.
